Nutrient management planning

One of the keys to the success of modern agriculture is a professionally prepared nutrient management plan.

With a properly prepared and well-used plan, we can minimize the amount of nutrients to be applied and reduce the environmental load on our fields while maximizing yields. In summary, while optimizing our costs, we also protect our environment.

With us, you will be the main consideration, not the sale of fertilizer!

For us, the most important thing is that our clients maximize their profits and manage their business efficiently.

Nutrient management planning

How is a nutrient management plan structured and what are the necessary preventive steps?

The next farming year begins with the harvest in our fields. This statement may sound strange, but the amount of the year’s yield must also be taken into account when planning the next year’s nutrient replenishment.

For planning, we need to know the physical and chemical soil conditions of our areas, the nutrient supply, all of which are interrelated and essential for a proper nutrient management plan.

By supplementing these with a leaf analysis performed at the right time, we can get an even more comprehensive picture, especially in the case of recommended horticultural and standing crops.

Soil test results

What is worth testing in our soils?

In addition to the macro-, meso-, and micronutrients important for plants, the physical
(complexity, water balance) and chemical (pH) properties of the soil must also be examined.

What does a nutrient management plan look like?

With an appropriate measurement basis, we can create a professional and usable nutrient management plan.

During the design, we determine the amount of nutrients to be applied for the planned yields to be achieved, and the maximum amount of N that can be applied as specified by the Nitrate Regulation is also indicated.
